EQUUS for Good

EQUUS Coaching at the Ranch

The Pegasus Project is pleased to host a unique service provided by certified Equus Coach, Cynthia Seale and co-facilitated by our amazing rescue horses. Equus coaching is a form of equine assisted learning, or simply put, life coaching for humans with an equine twist. And our horses receive the benefit of engaging with humans! For additional details, visit: EQUUS for Good.

All sessions are ground based with no riding and no prior horse experienced needed.

Coaching is available for adults and youth - individuals, couples, families, and small groups interested in acquiring powerful insights and making positive changes with matters such as: life-changing decisions, communication patterns in your relationship, discovering your self-worth and value, building self-confidence, setting healthy boundaries, and more. Sessions are fee-based with a portion donated to The Pegasus Project.

Or, simply connect with the horses!

Curious about horses on the ranch but horseback riding isn’t your jam? Considering adopting an amazing Pegasus rescue horse, yet not quite sure? Watch a demonstration of horse communication and then decide if you’d like to try for yourself, or take the leap and spend an hour connecting with the horses together with the guidance of an Equus coach. Explore the world of horses and their herds and learn a thing or two about yourself in the process.

Why partner with horses to better understand human behavior?

Horses are herd animals. Their inherit gentle nature, curiosity, and desire to work within a community causes them to seek connection, even with people!

As prey animals, horses are highly intuitive and keenly aware of their surroundings at all times. It’s a matter of survival.

They never lie. Unlike humans who are conditioned to form judgements and think in terms of right and wrong, horses only reflect back the truth of the present moment, mirroring the client’s inner dialogue regardless of their verbal expressions.

Equine facilitation helps clients to identify their own positive and negative communication patterns.
