Winona 48, Chicos Whiskey River Doc – “Whiskey,” was born in 2007. He is a 17-year-old APHA black and white Tobiano Paint gelding. He has a white blaze, white markings, and stockings. When we rescued him, he was a stallion so he was gelded a bit later in life. He is halter trained, leads well, loads, stands well for the farrier, and is good with the veterinarian. Whiskey is sweet and quiet and does not do well with force. He does great with other horses, is non-dominant, and would be best in a home with a pasture for him to graze in as he gets stressed when confined. He cannot be ridden but enjoys being loved on and scratched. His only health issue is that he has PSSM1 but seems to be asymptomatic.
